Whether you pick up a newspaper, turn on the television, listen to the radio or browse the world wide web. There is only one topic is on everybody's lips right now.
You would be forgiven for thinking that absolutely nothing else is happening in the world around us, and that everything else is on indefinite pause for a week, a month, a year even, while we get to grips with a life changing event that threatens to change the way we live, at least in the short term.
