As Summer comes to a close, Down Under at least, so too does our Summer of Wellness resource sheets. Today sees a triple dose of wellness uploaded for your downloading pleasure and covers the final three facets of Emotional, Physical and Social Wellness.
It can be said that emotional wellness is one of the foundational cornerstones of the FYI/ASK resource as a whole, in fact, there have been many sheets and topics that we have devoted ourselves to in the past that have solely focused on the many facets of emotional intelligence. But today we are taking a look at exactly what it is to be emotionally healthy.
As our physical health declines, so too does our emotional and mental wellbeing. It’s a domino effect for when you push the lead domino over its momentum connects with the next one, and then the next..and you get the idea. Before long we are spent, both mentally and physically and such stress can lead us into a downward spiral that further impacts our physical health. In this sheet we take a look at how to project a positive physicality and reap the benefits thereof.
One thing it isn’t is ensuring your status is up to date on Facebook, or that you have a picture of this mornings breakfast uploaded onto Instagram, or that you have made sure to tweet your most recent random thought on Twitter. No, social wellness is all about your relationships with the people and the community around you, for it is this that helps to shape your mental, physical and emotional health. If you have designs to take a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing then you really should make social wellness a priority.
